POSITION SUMMARY:

The Coordinator, Entertainment is responsible for managing and coordinating various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Entertainment BU in general. The coordinator is responsible to handle daily office tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling of the people under Entertainment BU. Working closely with ticketing office to support all functions of purchasing and upgrading tickets as well as providing general information to all inquiries related to the guests before and during the events.

The position requires the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and

public holidays, as well as being able to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures day to day office administrative tasks related to all Entertainment BU, such as scheduling of the people under the whole BU, handling internal systems and processes related to the BU and other.
  • Performs administrative duties as required, by assisting Management with the preparation of various forms and reports
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Assist in generating agendas, taking and distributing meeting notes
  • Provide a high level of guest service by engaging guests, answering questions, resolving issues, making thoughtful recommendations and identifying opportunities to personalize each experience.
  • Provide a vital resource for guests with a deep understanding of all ticket packages, policies, procedures, and possible discounts.
  • Through a personalized approach, assist guests interested in purchasing tickets with all aspectsof their decision-making process
  • Enhance guest’s experiences by informing them all additional products and activities throughout
  • Guide guests through the ticketing purchase process on all possible sales channels.
  • Manage the ticket-scanning process with skill, maintaining accurate ticket scans for all guests entering COD with an awareness of the overall flow of guests through our Venue entrances i
  • Ascertain and resolve guest concerns, requests, feedback and/or complaints in a timely, courteous, and informed manner, escalating guest concerns to management as necessary.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Work regular weekly shifts, including days, weekends, public holidays, and evening as assigned.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our box office program through feedback to management and participating in regular team development initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience

  • Previous experience in ticketed tourist attractions, casino gaming / hotel resort environment preferred.
  • Previous experience in ticket selling, cash handling and credit card transaction experience preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Hospitality, Event management, Business administration or any other related field is beneficial

Skills

  • Ability to work quickly and understand priorities
  • Excellent communication skills via all forms, including telephone, written, online and face to face
  • Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience of working with ticketing databases is a plus
  • Exceptionally strong organisation skills and work ethic needed
  • Ability to perform under pressure and problem solve quickly, raising concerns in a professional manner
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to work shifts, particularly late night
  • Open to flexible and changing working week schedules
