Two years of contract management, procurement, or purchasing
High school diploma or GED

Job Contributions
Prepare, review, process, and maintain construction, professional service, consulting contracts, amendments, and related budget documentation
Coordinate and support solicitations, vendor selection, pre-bid meetings, and contract award approvals (low bid, JOC, Design to Build, CMAR, etc.)
Review and maintain intergovernmental agreements (IGAs) and memoranda of understanding (MOUs)
Provide guidance and technical assistance to internal staff on contract development, procurement procedures, policy interpretation, and compliance requirements
Ensure adherence to County rules, fiscal controls, audit readiness, and records retention standards
Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, project managers, contractors, and external agencies to support contract scope alignment, budget confirmation, change controls, and issue resolution
Monitor contract performance, invoices, payment applications, Change Orders, Work Assignments, and maintain accurate electronic contract files
Prepare Board agenda items, administrative reports, tracking logs, and respond to inquiries while assuring technical procurement and solicitation standards are met
Monitor Article 3 contracts approaching expiration, notify users of renewals/next steps, and assist departments in creating Purchase Orders as required
Working Conditions
This position primarily works in an office setting and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
Must be able to lift up to 20-25 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly
