Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team in Riyadh. In this role, you will be the commercial backbone of a high-profile Giga-project, managing a portfolio of complex, high-value contracts that are shaping the future of Saudi Arabia.

We need a strategic thinker who can navigate the intricacies of multi-billion dollar agreements while ensuring Parsons and our clients are protected at every turn.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lifecycle Management: Direct the full spectrum of contract administration, from initial RFP development and tendering to final close-out and dispute resolution.

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential commercial risks and liabilities early; develop and implement robust mitigation strategies to safeguard project margins.

  • Claims & Variations: Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of complex change orders, claims, and variations, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary commercial point of contact for the client, subcontractors, and internal legal teams to ensure seamless communication and compliance.

  • Financial Oversight: Monitor contract performance against budgets, ensuring all commercial activities are conducted with total transparency and financial integrity.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years in contract management, with a strong emphasis on large-scale infrastructure or mega-projects.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise in FIDIC and other international standard forms of contract. Experience with Saudi Arabian procurement laws is highly desirable.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or a related field. Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS or MCIPS) is preferred.

  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation and drafting skills, with the ability to articulate complex commercial points to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment within a multicultural team in Riyadh.
