The Boeing CompanyThe Government and Enterprise Contracts team is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Contracting programs in Hazelwood, MO.
This position would support the DLA customer through multiple strategic contract actions as part of the Captains of Industry (COI) portfolio. The COI portfolio spans numerous platforms (F/A-18, F-15, KC-46, P-8, KC-13, CH-47, etc.) across numerous requirements based and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts. This role will interface with key DLA leadership within DLA Aviation who are located in Richmond, VA, Huntsville, AL, Philadelphia, PA, and Oklahoma City, OK. The selected individual will support proposals, negotiations, as well as contract review and execution processes and will partner with key internal stake holders in support of meeting the DLA and Boeing joint mission. The position will lead approximately 12 Contracts Representatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees engaged in Contract Management Specialist activities
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
5+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Juris Doctorate or Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
10+ years of experience with contracts
Experience in the commercial aviation industry
Experience in a leadership role

Summary pay range: $114,750 – $155,250
