Salary: $55,970
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Primary Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Contracts Coordinator provides assistance in the development, management, and compliance of professional services contracts for the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. This role is responsible for providing advice on procurement processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the effective implementation of contract management procedures. The incumbent will ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, promote stakeholder collaboration, and manage contract-related reporting and analysis, all while driving alignment with the agency’s mission and strategic goals.
Develop, manage, and ensure compliance with professional services contracts.
Handle procurement processes and coordinate with relevant agencies efficiently.
Develop contract documents, manage the procurement evaluation, and ensure effective implementation.
Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively.
Compile, analyze, and report on assigned contract activities.
Ensure compliance with legal standards and ethical conduct in contract management.
Prioritize and adapt to new responsibilities effectively.
Other duties as assigned.
The Contracts Coordinator role requires strong knowledge of contract management processes, state and federal legislation, and agency policies, with the ability to analyze, report, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. Key skills include strategic leadership, communication, and the capacity to manage complex administrative tasks while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Relevant Korn Ferry competencies for this position would include Ensures Accountability for driving contract performance excellence and Manages Complexity to navigate the multifaceted demands of procurement and compliance activities.

3 years of technical clerical work plus 1 year of experience involving procurement, purchasing, contracting, or acquisition OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience substitution is allowed for the 3 years of technical clerical experience only
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Public Administration or a closely related field
Two years of professional experience in professional services procurement, project management, business, or technical writing
Certification as a Certified Procurement Officer that is current and in good standing
Experience in SoonerCare programs
Experience writing and editing legal and/or contractual documents
Experience with procurement of professional services
Information Technology experience
Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels. In the course of performing job duties, employees are required to speak, stand, walk, and reach with their hands and arms. This position requires extended periods of sitting and daily use of computers and phones. Employees must be willing to complete all job-related travel associated with this position. Being present at the office is an essential function of this position.
