TEAM AND ROLE:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Trade Support – Contract Specialist with experience in biofuels, who is also comfortable working across environmental certificates and non-disclosure agreements. You’ll partner closely with our Biofuels and Certificates desks to ensure every contract - from physical biofuels trades to certificate transactions and non-disclosure agreements - is contractually sound, compliant, and executed with speed and accuracy.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of the biofuels market - physical movement of goods and the contractual frameworks that underpin the industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage biofuel (FAME, HVO) and certificate contracts as well non-disclosure agreements, in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to completion.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records.
• Gain a strong understanding of the operational and contractual side of the environmental commodity trade process.
• Support various automation projects to aid team efficiency, leveraging tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate and Copilot. Familiarity with these platforms is considered an advantage.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Law.
• 2+ years of experience working with biofuels contracts or supporting biofuels trading operations.
• Strong understanding of commodity trading terms and conditions (INCOTERMS, delivery terms, pricing mechanisms).  
• Fluent in English and currently living in the Netherlands.
• Fantastic attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation skills, analytical skills.
