Job Summary: You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the CONTRACTS DIVISION, OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-2 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-5 - GS-11. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 - GS-13.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: NH-III: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-II (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing professional contracting functions for small contracts (contracts under the simplified acquisition threshold) such as developing, implementing, or maintaining all aspects of contractual support to fulfill the contracts mission, while ensuring compliance with detailed contract terms and conditions. NH-II: You must meet the Basic Education Requirements of the Department of Defense Qualification Standard for Contracting positions: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.
