About the Team
The Global Legal Services team supports a wide variety of transactional and in-depth work. This worldwide team is composed of contract negotiators who handle work across Workday’s customer base and net new accounts. The team is asked to manage a large volume of requests and interact with several cross functional teams.About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary legal contact and negotiator for Workday’s legal team
Manage workflow, document generation and review processes for a variety of contract types, beginning with receipt of requests for contract generation through routing for signatures and final distribution
Assist with maintenance of contracts management system as well as implementation and enforcement of contract practices and policies
Coordinate with cross-functional teams during contract review cycles, acting as a key contact for the legal department by providing guidance on commonly requested edits, non-standard terms, policies, copies, questions, etc.
Review proposed modifications to contracts and work with internal business partners and third parties to negotiate terms, and obtain approvals for modifications as required
Draft and revise contract wording to address various situations as they arise
Maintain processes between the legal department and other groups and collaborate on ways to continually improve the contracts administration process
Provide support to in-house legal staff, including research, correspondence and record-keeping
Execute assigned projects as determined by needs of the business and department
About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing contracts (including drafting and negotiation) in a corporate environment
Bachelor’s Degree or above
Experience in a law firm or legal department is required
Licensed attorney is desired but not required
Other Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Google applications
Experience with a contract management system, e.g.. Apttus or others
Experience with electronic signature software, e.g. EchoSign, Docusign, Salesforce
Strong collaborative spirit and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output, team oriented environment
Language skills in addition to Spanish and English would be a plus, but not required.
Strong persuasive abilities, including outstanding influence and communication skills.
