Job Description:

Contract Manager
Dubai, UAE

Parsons is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee project contract management activities. This role is responsible for administering contracts, managing correspondence, supporting claims and variations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to time, cost, and risk control throughout the project lifecycle. The position ensures all contractual obligations are effectively managed and fulfilled.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Identify and assess project risks, implementing contractual safeguards to minimize disruption.

  • Manage RFIs and correspondence, ensuring timely tracking and responses.

  • Review, evaluate, and administer claims in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of RFIs, claims, variations, and delays.

  • Support and prepare Extension of Time (EOT) requests.

  • Assist in evaluating variations and monitoring associated cost impacts.

  • Coordinate with project teams to prepare periodic client reports on contract status.

  • Provide technical guidance to support effective and timely contract administration.

  • Collaborate with project and division management on proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration.

  • Review RFPs to identify risks and non-compliant contractual terms.

  • Lead negotiations on complex contractual matters with clients.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in prime contract administration.

  • Experience working with a large international engineering and construction firm is required.

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and industry-standard contract forms.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
