We are currently seeking a Contract Analyst to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Contract Analyst at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in designing and analyzing clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

In this role you will be client-dedicated (offices in Brussels region) and accountable for coordination, preparation, and execution of clinical study contracts (PI, site, institution, MSA, local vendors, etc., as applicable) in assigned countries. You will work in close collaboration with the Study Start-Up Managers, Clinical Project Managers and Finance Specialists.

What you will be doing


    • Accountable for coordination, preparation, and execution of clinical study contracts and amendments (PI, site, institution, MSA, local vendors, etc., as applicable) for assigned projects
    • Tracks and oversees contract status including the dispatch and return of contracts
    • Negotiates financial & legal conditions, escalates issues as applicable
    • Single point of contact for local Legal and ERC (e.g., for patient reimbursement topics)
    • Develops and standardizes local contract templates (e.g., for EC submission if required by local regulation) and MSAs
    • Adheres to financial standards, prevailing legislation, ICH/GCP, IRB/IEC, Health Authority and SOP requirements

Your Profile 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in Contract Management or a relevant discipline preferred.
     
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory requirements related to clinical trials and vendor agreements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex contractual issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
