Content Ingestion Analyst
Join us as a CDI Content Ingestion Analyst in Jerusalem and play a key role in supporting the global research community. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work hands-on with libraries, cataloging standards, and research content, ensuring high-quality and reliable data for our users worldwide. You’ll be part of a collaborative six-person team reporting to the Team Manager, Content Ingestion.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
2 years of experience with Excel and XML files.
2 years of experience analyzing data, identifying root causes, solving complex problems, and implementing end-to-end solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English
It would be great if you also had . . .
Familiarity with library cataloging practices, publishing organizations, or the academic research environment.
Basic Programming knowledge (ability to read/write simple code).
Some knowledge of SQL or database structures.
Exposure to Linux environments, Bash scripting, or Python
What will you be doing in this role?
Investigate and resolve complex support requests by diagnosing and resolving data/content issues using product knowledge and XML standards.
Maintain data integrity through metadata analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency, identify patterns, and improve overall quality.
Follow ETL workflows by executing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple sources using internal tools and custom scripts.
About the Team
The Content operation group is responsible for the content we store, manage, and present to users through our Discovery tools. We make sure the results our users get when they search in our search engines are accurate and relevant.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model.
This is a full-time position.
