Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit utility arborist and vegetation management work to ensure compliance with customer specifications, contract requirements, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular field inspections to verify work quality, safety, and scope adherence.
  • Track daily production and crew performance against planned targets.
  • Accurately document audit findings, deficiencies, and non‑conformances.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports for internal teams and customers, including production metrics and audit results.
  • Develop, implement, and track corrective action plans to address audit findings.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, supervision, and crews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify trends, risks, and recurring issues, and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Maintain organized records to support compliance, billing accuracy, and performance reviews.
  • Support safety, quality, and productivity initiatives across utility contracts.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Expectations:

  • Certified Arborist, either 444B or ISA.
  • Valid Class G drivers’ license.
  • Ability to assess tree risk, structural integrity, and site conditions and provide sound recommendations.
  • Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to staff, contractors, developers, and the public.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Current First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather and environmental conditions.
