We are seeking a Salesforce Consultant to join our Digital Services team. This role is ideal for a technically strong, sustainability-minded professional who can lead in Salesforce implementations, collaborate with project teams, and deliver impactful solutions for clients navigating their net-zero journeys. You will work across dynamic Salesforce environments, lead discovery sessions, and support clients in achieving their climate and operational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Consulting & Leadership
- Support the delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality deliverables from the team.
- Assist in client discovery sessions to gather requirements and document findings.
- Translate business needs into solution requirements and functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews for Salesforce implementations or enhancements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
- Deliver training sessions to clients and internal teams.
- Maintain a chargeability level with billable hours to external clients.
- Travel as required based on client needs.
Business Development
- Support proposal development, demos, and presentations for new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and strategic initiatives.
Configuration
- Perform hands-on configuration and customization of Salesforce across core clouds.
- Design and deliver scalable solutions using Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Lightning App Builder, etc.).
- Configure objects, fields, flows, automations, and profiles/permissions.
- Assist technical deliverables from team members.
- Support integration efforts using middleware tools such as MuleSoft.
- Ensure documentation (requirements, design specs, user guides) is complete and accurate.
- Support testing and quality assurance for configurations and customisations.
- Identify risks and lead change management efforts during delivery.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of Salesforce experience, including hands-on configuration and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce object model, metadata, configuration, and permissions.
- Proficiency with declarative tools (Flows, Lightning App Builder, etc).
- Experience with core Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience).
- Familiarity with integration patterns and API usage.
- Experience managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English (Written and Verbal)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales/Service/Experience Cloud Consultant).
- Experience with API design and system architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, source control, and release management.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Consulting or client-facing experience.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- Exposure to sustainability-focused solutions (Net Zero Cloud).
