Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute environmental projects involving site investigation, remediation, and demolition activities.
  • Provide EHS regulatory and compliance services, including Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments and remediation planning.
  • Act as Project Manager for small to medium projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and technical reports.
  • Manage subcontractors, including contract negotiations and performance oversight.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements and provide strategic solutions.
  • Collaborate with ERM regional and global teams to deliver multi-office projects.
  • Ensure health & safety leadership during all field and office activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related science (master’s preferred)
  • 5–9 years of experience in contaminated site investigation, remediation, construction/demolition, cost estimation, and contractor management.
  • Strong experience in EHS Due Diligence, audits, and compliance programs (local and international standards preferred).
  • Proven track record in project delivery for industrial clients with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required (Japanese language proficiency is a plus if relevant to regional projects).
  • Ability to travel extensively, work independently, and manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
