ABOUT THIS EPIC OPPORTUNITY

Join Epic’s talented GIS team working in our Brisbane office. You will be responsible for supporting a range of ecological and environmental assessment projects and contributing to spatial analysis, mapping, and data management across diverse project types.

In this newly created role for the team, the Consultant GIS Analyst will be experienced in producing professional, quality maps and spatial outputs with a clear understanding of spatial data structures and coordination systems, enabling them to support the field teams with data collection platforms, assist in the automation of workflows, and contribute to improving internal GIS systems and processes.

WHAT MAKES YOU EPIC

To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

• 1-2 years of industry experience
• Tertiary qualification in Spatial Science, GIS, Environmental Science or related disciplines
• Proficiency in QGIS and/or ArcGIS and ArcGIS Pro
• Basic SQL, database concepts and Python skills desired but not a prerequisite
• Experience with Field Maps and Survey123 highly regarded
