The Facilities Construction team at Micron Technology, Inc. is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality construction projects that support our advanced manufacturing operations. We work collaboratively across engineering disciplines and with external contractors to ensure projects meet stringent safety, quality, and operational standards.

The Construction Electrical Trades Coordinator oversees electrical construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role provides leadership in safety compliance, project planning, and contractor coordination while driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate electrical construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee electrical contractors, communicate daily priorities, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Apply project management methodologies to manage scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on design, installation, and startup of new construction and remodel projects.
  • Analyze systems data to identify improvements, troubleshoot issues, and mitigate risks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or Electrical Journeyman/Master certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction coordination and estimating.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project estimating.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of electrical experience in a semiconductor construction environment.
  • Experience with BIM360, Navisworks, and 3D modeling tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of funding approval processes and cost estimation practices.
