Configuration Management Lead- Configuration and Infrastructure

Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Lead to support the configuration and infrastructure of the USCIS Enterprise Automation & Unified Task Orchestration (eAUTO) contract—delivering 24×7 IT services that integrate automation, cloud, hosting, and unified communications for 30,000+ end‑users.

As the Configuration Management Lead you will  safeguard the integrity of USCIS’s mission-critical IT baselines and drive the automation that keeps thousands of systems in sync. In this high-visibility role you’ll own the enterprise CMDB, craft policy, and integrate DevSecOps pipelines that feed real-time configuration data to decision-makers.

Primary responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for managing the CM team, priority, status, and deliverables minister the enterprise Change Management program and interface with DHS ICCB.

  • Conduct daily Virtual CABs  achieving 99 % same-day processing and automate VCAB minutes in ServiceNow.

  • Generate weekly and quarterly change-volume metrics; integrate CM oversight into AWS resources.

  • Review/approve CRs in ServiceNow/ServiceHUB within 1–7-day SLA.

  •  Support break-fix/emergency changes. 

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of IT requirements management, configuration management, change management or Systems Engineering experience

  • 4+ years’ as a team lead or equivalent experience in enterprise Information Technology (IT) Configuration  Management, metrics and reporting, experience in configuration and change management principles.

  • Working knowledge of Jenkins, configuration management database (CMDB), code packaging, Jira, Salesforce, ELK, Git Hub, AWS and basic Unix commands.

  • Experience maintaining baseline and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy required.

  • Experience on maintaining the baseline for efforts using Agile and DevOps methodologies.

  • Experience maintaining the baseline for cloud-based systems preferred

  • Advanced experience using configuration management database (CMDB) to onboard new hardware/software technologies accurately and confirm that items are correctly documented,

  • DHS Public Trust Security Clearance

Preferred qualifications

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certifications

  • Experience working on USCIS contracts and mission environments

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
