Function:
MaintenanceYou will report directly to the Rotating Equipment and Reliability Supervisor in this on-site position. You will provide advanced monitoring activities, data collection and analysis, and diagnosis of different vibration-related fault conditions. You will enhance safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly operations by collaborating with other disciplines, operations, maintenance, and EHS to ensure solutions meet our goals.
You Will:
Perform the collection of vibration data promptly
Provide a detailed analysis of problem equipment and recommend solutions to improve or repair defective equipment
Complete reports from data collected and present all anomalies to the Supervisor - Rotating Equipment and Reliability, and the Reliability Engineer.
Support to the Maintenance and Operations teams, including leading meetings, completing reviews, and facilitating or participating in failure analysis sessions
Manage the oil analysis and sampling program.
Review maintenance data collected by software and hardware systems in place, and support other condition-monitoring tools provided
Monitor and review daily vibrating/noisy or high-temperature alarms generated by software and hardware systems in place, and ensure corrective actions are taken to address any major concerns while reporting any changes noted to the Rotating Equipment and Reliability Engineer.
Review reliability work orders with Process Engineers, Planning, and Management, ensuring priorities are established.
Develop and implement a structured condition monitoring program and execution of the PM schedule
Can interpret a variety of complex vibration problems on machinery and piping by the use and analysis of vibration data through troubleshooting
Perform thermography scans on select mechanical equipment and develop finding reports
Expand and improve the current condition monitoring, analysis, and PM schedules and programs.
Work safely and comply with site safety, health, and environmental standards.
Perform the physical aspects of the job, including climbing to heights and walking on very uneven terrain or slippery surfaces.
Manage System 1 software and utilize it to interpret vibration monitoring data and Bently Nevada monitoring equipment.
You Have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in vibration monitoring and analysis
Previous experience in oil and gas, chemical manufacturing, and mining.
Minimum qualification: college diploma and/or trade certificate
Minimum level Category II Vibration certified according to ISO #18436
Familiarity with PI and System 1 would be an asset
Have demonstrated the ability to work safely and in compliance with site safety, health, and environmental standards
Availability and willingness to work overtime.
Must have a valid driver’s license

Estimated Base Hourly Rate: $46.40/hour – $69.30/hour
The actual base hourly rate depends on various factors, such as education/certifications, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, scope of the role, and location. The estimated base hourly rate shown does not factor in any applicable premiums.
