Overview

The Concessions Supervisor oversees, supervises, and monitors the daily operation of the concessions kitchen and grill at the water park and provides scheduling and direc supervision of employees while ensuring safe food handling,
preparation, and timely service to patrons. Work is done seasonally.

Essential Functions

1 Oversees, supervises, and manages the daily operation of concessions and the preparation of concession food ensuring compliance with state and local health codes and safe food handling guidelines.

2 Participates in weekly trainings for food handling and customer service standards.

3 Supervises seasonal concessions and lead concessions staff; monitors staff ensuring all health regulations regarding food and beverage handling and service are followed.

4 Monitors, manages, and tracks inventory; places orders to restock food supplies and other needs.

5 Operates and employes Point of Sale Systems; oversees use and correct sales activities.

6 Performs any and all other work as needed or assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

1 Knowledge of customer service and food service.

2 Knowledge of food and beverage safe handling methods, techniques, and regulations.

3 Knowledge of water park rules for operation.

4 Ability to lead, direct, supervise, and assist staff in the safe handling and delivery of food and beverage.

5 Ability to use point of sale systems and perform efficient cash handling.

6 Ability to work effectively in a commercial kitchen, restraint, or concessions stand setting.

7 Ability to provide customer service and ensure patron safety for a large number of patrons at a large aquatics facility.

8 Communicating effectively verbally and in writing.

9 Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Experience

1 year of supervisory experience in food and beverage service in a commercial kitchen or other related work.

Licenses and Certifications

None

Education

High School Diploma, GED



Salary Range

 

$21.04 - $22.67
