Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Computer Systems Analyst to join our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Sentinel Program. This position will be located in Roy, Utah.

What you’ll get to do:

• Provide day-to-day network maintenance to include installation, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of switched networks and network equipment

• Research, design and implement security solutions for network infrastructure

• Assist in designing, pricing and implementation of network systems.

• Assist in engineering network solutions for new & existing systems.

• Provide networking equipment inventory management and documentation

• Document network information including all switching and routing equipment, connected IP-addressable devices and cabling interconnects

• Participate in project planning

• Track and report identified information system vulnerabilities

• Monitor, review, analyze, tune, and make recommendations to optimize network

• Manage, configure, and install firewall security appliances

• Assist in the creation of test plans and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

• • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years

• • Must be able to be successfully screened for Special Program Access (SAP) , within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

• • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 2 years of experience; or 0 years of relevant experience with a Masters (MS) degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background working with Cisco IOS and IOSXE switches and routers

• Experience with Unix, Linux and Windows environments and processes.

• Experience with troubleshooting, deploying, configuration and management of hardware to include routers, switches, firewalls

• Knowledge Working with Network Protocols, LANS, VLANs, OSPF, STP, LACP and GRE.

• Must have the ability to acquire a minimum of a IAT Level II (DoD 8570.1M; such as, Security+) certification within 3 months

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
