Job Summary: This position is located at Vehicle Registration, Sembach Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major Duties:

  • Serves as a Computer Operator for the information Systems Branch at the USAREUR Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV).
  • Works under direct supervision of the Computer Operations Section Supervisor. Operates the Registry’s host computer and peripherals. Prepares daily computer operation schedules for computer production.
  • Monitors performance of the host computer system and job execution. Maintains and reviews documentation of runs, logs, operator instructions and technical publications. Performs routine equipment maintenance.
  • Analyzes and responds to system messages or unusual occurrences during production runs. Consult with users to resolve database errors. Assist users in maintaining connectivity to the host computer system.
  • Act as duty officer for all registry activities after duty hours and emergencies. Receives in-depth on-the-job training.
