What is the opportunity?

As the Compliance Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Hybrid Cloud and Intelligent Operations team adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leveraging your expertise in compliance and risk management to support the team's operational and strategic goals. What will you do?

  • Provide independent oversight of compliance within Hybrid Cloud and Intelligent Operations, including consultation with product managers and/or product engineers on best practices and performing independent review of findings.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external regulators, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of compliance-related matters.
  • Lead regular audits and monitoring to identify potential compliance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, create reports for senior management, and maintain documentation related to compliance activities.
  • Ensure company operations, policies, and procedures conform to government and industry standards.
  • Perform control effectiveness testing, conduct regular audits, and validate remediation of identified issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of control frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance initiatives are integrated into business processes and workflows.
  • Manage large scale risk and compliance initiatives.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, law, or a related field.
  • Certification in compliance or risk management (e.g., CRCM, CRISC).
  • Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and identify risks and trends.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for presenting to stakeholders and drafting compliance reports.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards relevant to Hybrid Cloud and Intelligent Operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant risk management software.
  • Knowledge of industry Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions/packages (e.g., Archer, RegComp).

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working with Hybrid Cloud technologies and understanding of associated compliance challenges.
