Job Summary
The Compliance Operations Senior Analyst - Transaction Monitoring serves as a Subject Matter Expert regarding AML operational activities for BHFS, The Brands, and Booking Holdings Inc. This role focuses on conducting complex reviews, managing escalations and supporting regulatory initiatives that require high-level operational execution. You will provide dedicated support across all Compliance Operations pillars, specifically within Transaction Monitoring, Payment Screening KYC, KYB, and Sanctions Screening
Key Responsibilities
Process Design & Execution: Design and implement Transaction Monitoring and Payment Screening frameworks to support the monitoring of EEA and UK New and Existing Customers.
Escalations & Oversight: Act as a POC for a team of AML/KYC SME’s based in the BHIPL Centre of Excellence in Bangalore. Review all escalations to ensure the process has been followed and make risk based decisions on the next steps.
Documentation & Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive work-paper standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and templates to ensure the effective and consistent documentation of activity reviews and disposition conclusions.
Training & Knowledge Management: Identify training needs and assist in the creation of training materials and guidance documents to support the wider Compliance functions continuous learning and development.
Regulatory Alignment: Execute Transactional based activities to ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements/expectations and the firm's internal policies.
Trend Analysis: Maintain a process for tracking and analyzing emerging financial crime trends and integrating these insights into operational procedures.
Regulatory Support: Assist the Transaction Monitoring Manager in gathering data and drafting responses for regulatory inquiries or law enforcement requests.
Risk Assessment: Contribute data and insights to the completion of the wider AML/CTF and FS Compliance Risk Assessments.
Tooling & Implementation: Assist in the design, implementation and testing of FCRM tooling for Transaction Monitoring/Payment Screening ensuring operational requirements are met.
Audit Support: Act as a key point of contact for Transactional related audits (both internal and external), preparing deliverables and evidence as required.
Cross-Functional Support: Support the Transaction Monitoring Manager in reviewing tooling designs/enhancements and working with product, tech and other internal stakeholder teams to finalise requirements.
Project Delivery: Assist in the design, roll-out, and procedural documentation for other regulatory operational initiatives within the Compliance Operations remit.
Group Collaboration: Provide specialized support to The Brands and BHI on complex transnational investigations using BHFS FCRM Tooling and assist on future initiatives to align with Group priorities.
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or accounting preferred; or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or similar ICA Diploma
At least 4+ years' experience in AML compliance/AML/KYC Operations with a focus on transaction monitoring and payment screening preferably at a large financial institution with a European customer base, experience in payments an advantage.
