JOB POSITION

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking an Associate VMA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • Should have basic knowledge of Vendor Management Operation.
  • Compliance Questionnaires/Regulatory filings/Check lists/SOC1/Information Security Risk mitigation/OIG/GSA.
  • Experience with any P2P and ERP Software (Ariba, PeopleSoft, Fieldglass, PeopleSoft, GEP, Coupa, etc. as a Procurement Tool) is a plus.
  • An Analyst - Vendor Management: designing, developing, implementing, and supporting reporting and analytics that enable Elevance Health to effectively manage our vendor eco-system, enhance sourcing decisions, minimize value leakage, mitigate risk to Elevance Health and drive business results through vendors. 
  • Identifying, assessing, and providing solutions to assess difficult business and technology risks
  • Engage and contribute to walkthrough meetings to document end to end processes, gaps, and requirements according to Elevance Health’s standard and methodologies
  • Data collection, analysis and forecasting by manipulating large sets of data.
  • Create and maintain databases to track vendor performance and spend.
  • Develop and analyze vendor/business performance reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain and document existing and/or new policies and procedures.
  • Provide notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
  • Make recommendations to clients and business partners based upon data analysis.
  • Identify and support process improvements like automation of recurring operational activities.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Law background preferred.
     

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5 years prior experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
     

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to process/analyze challenges that are not clear yet generate insights and perspectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
