Job Summary: The Denver Broncos Community Programs & Events Intern will support the Denver Broncos Foundation and Community Impact Department with on-and-offsite events, gameday activations and fundraising initiatives while providing administrative support to the department. 

Duration: This is a seasonal internship running July 2026 through February 2027 (exact start date to be determined).

Duties & Responsibilities

Event Planning & Logistics Support:

The Community Programs & Events intern will support the coordination and implementation of Denver Broncos Foundation and Community Impact events and programs including but not limited to: Community Tuesdays, Staff Service Series, Broncos Family Network events and player community appearances. This position will have ownership of select holiday programming, and large-scale community activations.

Administration: 

This position is responsible for overseeing fan correspondence including voicemails, mail, care packages and email inquiries while providing positive customer service with knowledge of core values of the Denver Broncos organization, organizing event photos, assistance with maintenance of internal storage areas and research projects as needed to support department initiatives and growth.

Fundraising:

This position will assist the Denver Broncos Foundation with fundraising efforts, including but not limited to Ticket Turnover donation program, Colorado Specialty License Plates and Mile High Shoutout program.

Gameday & Training Camp: 

This position will support all Community Impact programming during Broncos Training Camp and gameday activations. Activations include, but are not limited to: Kid Zone, Community Corner, Alumni gameday appearances, record keeping of Mile High Shoutouts, Broncos Family Network offerings, Alumni Reunion Weekend.

Contributes to the team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Cover letter, resume and references
  • Bachelor's degree or if currently enrolled degree must be completed by June 2026
  • 3 months – 1 year of relevant experience/training
  • Ability to work all Broncos home games, nights/weekends, and keep a flexible schedule
  • Proficient in computer skills and computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) 

Preferred Skills & Ability 

  • Non-profit, fundraising, and/or community service experience preferred 
  • Sports industry and/or team experience (Pro, College, full-time, part-time) preferred 
  • Event planning and logistics experience preferred 
  • Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity  
  • Customer service experience in a professional setting 
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to thrive in pressure situations 
  • Self-starter who can work independently when given a task and have the focus to follow through follow up if problems arise 
  • Strong writing and computer skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel as well as large groups 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this position is $19.29/hour.
