The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 12 universities, a comprehensive health science center, nine state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus. Salary:

$3,042.67 - $4,583.33 per month commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary:

The Website Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of website operations for the Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) within Marketing and Communications. This position assists with front-end website maintenance,

content publishing, accessibility support, quality assurance, and routine web updates across TAMUS web properties. Working under the direction of the Assistant Director, Website Operations, the role helps implement established

standards, workflows, and content practices; serves as the liaison with content custodians; and contributes to a consistent, accessible, and user-centered digital presence aligned with institutional priorities and identity standards.


Responsibilities:
40% Website Content Maintenance & Publishing

- Execute day-to-day website updates, content publishing, formatting, and page maintenance across official TAMUS web properties.

- Create, update, and maintain web pages, documents, links, navigation elements, and other digital content components within the content management system.

- Support content placement, page formatting, and content organization to improve readability, usability, and consistency.

- Help ensure website content is current, accurate, visually consistent, and aligned with brand and editorial standards.

- Troubleshoot routine front-end website issues and coordinate more complex issues with the Assistant Director, Website Operations, TAMUS IT, or other appropriate partners.

25% Content Custodian Support & Website Coordination

- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to content custodians managing system-owned websites, including assistance with publishing, formatting, page updates, navigation, and general website coordination as necessary.

- Respond to routine website requests and help guide stakeholders on established procedures, templates, and content practices.

- Coordinate assigned web tasks and follow-ups with internal stakeholders, TAMUS IT, and other partners as needed.

- Assist with curating documentation, request tracking, and operational workflows for website support activities.

20% Accessibility, Quality Assurance & Standards Support

- Perform routine website quality assurance checks related to formatting, broken links, content accuracy, accessibility, and usability.

- Use tools such as Siteimprove and other reporting tools to identify issues and support remediation efforts.

- Apply established accessibility, brand, and content standards to website updates and publishing activities.

- Assist with review cycles and cleanup efforts to improve compliance, consistency, and user experience across TAMUS web properties.

10% Website Enhancement & Modernization Support

- Support implementation of website improvements, redesign efforts, template updates, and other front-end enhancement projects under the direction of the Assistant Director, Website Operations.

- Assist with testing, page reviews, content migration, and launch-readiness activities for website updates and modernization efforts.

- Help gather and organize information needed for website improvements and operational planning.

5% Other Duties as Assigned.


Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of experience in website support, web content management, digital communications, website development, marketing communications, or related web/digital fields.

- Experience working with content management systems required.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of content management systems such as Word Press or similar platforms.

- Knowledge of website content publishing, page layout, and front-end content maintenance.

- Familiarity with accessibility principles, digital quality assurance, and website usability practices.

- Familiarity with analytics and website quality tools such as Google Analytics and Siteimprove.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines in a service-oriented environment.

- Ability to work cooperatively with others and provide responsive support to stakeholders.

- Ability to apply established standards, workflows, and guidance to website tasks.

- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience supporting website content updates, digital publishing, or front-end website maintenance preferred.
- Two to four years of professional experience in website support, web content management, digital communications, website development, marketing communications, or related web/digital fields.
