About the Team

Workday’s Corporate Communications team in EMEA is a collaborative, results-driven group that builds brand awareness and engagement around the Workday business across the region. We cover both external and internal communications in the markets in which Workday operates, enjoying working with different cultures and driving global business impact through compelling content that inspires and educates our audiences while instilling trust in Workday.

About the Role

Workday is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Communications Specialist to join our growing EMEA Communications team. This is a unique, integrated role designed for a proactive storyteller with 1–2 years of experience who is ready to operate at the heart of a global technology leader.

You will act as a central engine for our pan-EMEA campaigns, creating high-impact content toolkits that bridge internal, external, and executive communications. This is a dual-focus role: while 50% of your time will be dedicated to driving integrated EMEA-wide initiatives and ensuring global alignment, the remaining 50% will be focused on the strategic launch and growth of the META (Middle East, Turkey, and Africa) region.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a ‘global mindset,’ and can translate complex business goals into creative content that inspires. You will work closely with the Pan-EMEA Comks Senior Manager and report directly to the Head of Corporate Communications, EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrated Campaign Development: Support the creation and execution of pan-EMEA integrated campaigns. Develop comprehensive "toolkits" (press materials, internal talking points, social assets etc.) that can be localised by regional teams.

  • META Region Launch (50% Focus): Act as a key project coordinator for the launch of the META region. Support localised media relations, launch events, and executive visibility programmes specifically tailored to these emerging markets.

  • Global and regional alignment: Serve as a bridge between the EMEA and US stakeholders, ensuring all content is brand-aligned while remaining culturally relevant for local audiences.

  • Executive: Support the EMEA Executive Communications lead by drafting social media content (LinkedIn) related to campaigns.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or integrated marketing (agency or in-house).

  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Ability to adapt tone of voice for different channels (e.g., a formal executive briefing vs. an engaging internal Slack post).

  • Operational Excellence: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines across different time zones.

Other Qualifications:

  • Integrated Mindset: Understanding of how external news, internal engagement, and executive advocacy work together to build a brand.

  • Content Toolkit Experience: Experience building or using communication toolkits to scale campaigns across multiple countries.

  • Global Curiosity: An interest in the META region and the nuances of launching a brand in new, diverse markets.

  • Design Lite: Proficiency in Google Slides and basic visual design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Express) to make content "pop."

  • Tech Savvy: A strong interest in new technologies and the SaaS industry more widely.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!

At Workday, we value our candidates’ privacy and data security.  Workday will never ask candidates to apply to jobs through websites that are not Workday Careers.

Please be aware of sites that may ask for you to input your data in connection with a job posting that appears to be from Workday but is not.

In addition, Workday will never ask candidates to pay a recruiting fee, or pay for consulting or coaching services, in order to apply for a job at Workday.
