Your role with us
We are looking for a high-impact Communications & PR Manager who thrives on getting things done. You'll be the operational backbone of our comms function, the person who keeps the machine running, keeps our media database sharp, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. You won't just be writing press releases; you'll be owning the execution of how our stories get told across some of the most talked-about brands in the world.
What you will do
Given the dynamic nature of this role, responsibilities and projects will consistently evolve. However, the following outlines the initial key areas:
- Narrative Architecture: Develop and execute tailored PR strategies for our diverse portfolio—from the high-stakes world of Stake to the cultural zeitgeist of Kick.
- Sponsorship amplification: Help tell the stories around Stake’s global partnerships — ensuring activations have comms legs beyond the logo.
- PR Operations: Own the day-to-day mechanics of our communications output — media monitoring, press release drafting, key message development, and briefing documents that support the Head of Communications.
- Media Database & Logistics: Maintain and organise our media contact database across tech, crypto, gaming, sports, gambling, and mainstream business press globally — ensuring contacts are current, categorised, and ready to activate when needed.
- Global Communications Support: Act as the communications backbone for our international teams — helping them navigate how to get a message out in their market, whether that's understanding local media landscapes, drafting region-appropriate materials, or figuring out how to distribute a press release in a market you've never worked in before.
What you will bring:
- A Polyglot Storyteller: You can explain $EHT$ price action to a finance journalist and the appeal of a 24-hour Kick stream to a lifestyle reporter.
- An Execution Machine: You take a brief, run with it, and deliver. You don't need things to be perfect before starting and you don't drop balls.
- A Strong Writer: You can adapt your tone for a finance journalist, a gaming outlet, or a mainstream lifestyle reporter — and you know the difference matters.
- Culturally Plugged In: You know what’s trending on X, why the debate matters, and how to leverage crypto-native media.
- Globally Curious: You're comfortable working across cultures and markets. You don't need to have worked in every country — you need to be resourceful enough to figure it out.
- Thick-Skinned & Agile: Disruptor industries don't faze you. You're comfortable with ambiguity, fast timelines, and industries that attract scrutiny.
- Experience: 5+ years in PR/Comms, ideally with exposure to tech, gaming, or high-growth startups.
Bonus points if:
- Certification in Change Management or related fields
- Additional language skills
- Global experience working across diverse markets and cross-cultural environment
