Role Summary
Develops customized communications plans and implements strategies to market and communicate T. Rowe Price's products, services and/or client features to support engagement, value-realization, and communication services as a differentiated solution. Plan size, project scope, or client impact are typically smaller in scale. Accountable for overall satisfaction, retention, and development in the areas of client marketing and communication.
Responsibilities
Accountable for the overall client communications and participant experience for an assigned group of small to midsize plans or for an assigned list of client firms. Focus is on ensuring satisfaction with the client experience with a goal of client retention. Partners with relationship managers to understand needs of each client and demonstrates a strong understanding of client needs, plan health, and overall plan or client firm-level data to influence solutions and adopt proposed strategies.
Supports development of participant communication strategies for small to midsize clients identifying target audiences, timeframe, and products that meet the project's goals and costs. Maintains the plan throughout the project and adjusts accordingly based on client feedback and timing. Uses a variety of project process/implementation methods.
Leads standard communications presentations to client boards or investment committees. Utilizes client firm or plan and participant data to translate trends into strategies and solutions that are aligned with the client’s business goals.
Facilitates and manages the development of marketing and communication materials for clients/plans. Provides direction to internal creative team members in order to execute on the needs of the client. Creates new content for midsize clients aligned with T. Rowe Price standard and protocols. Works with various internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
2+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
4-year college degree in communication or marketing and 3 to 5 years of marketing, advertising, and/or communication experience.
Retirement industry knowledge.
Previous retirement communications support or related marketing experience.
Knowledge of T. Rowe Price products and services.
Proven ability to design and deliver presentations.
Possesses strong negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for full time remote work. The ability to travel as required to meet with clients and advisors, up to 10% of the time.
Base Salary Ranges

$63,500.00 - $109,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workersPlacement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
