Job Description

The Communication & Engagement Specialist plays a key role in supporting and executing internal communication, employer branding, and employee engagement initiatives in the Czech Republic & Slovakia. The role contributes to strengthening the company’s culture, enhancing employee experience, and increasing brand visibility in the local market.

Operating under the strategic direction of the Regional Communication Lead, this position works closely with regional comms & engagement teams and local stakeholders to ensure message consistency, a unified employee experience, and effective implementation of communication and engagement activities across all pillars.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal Communication

Draft, edit, and publish internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, and campaign messages. Maintain and regularly update internal communication platforms (intranet pages, email channels, digital screens). Coordinate communication campaigns that promote company initiatives, events, programs, and key updates. Ensure messaging is clear, timely, aligned with regional guidelines, and engaging for employees. Collect feedback and monitor performance of internal communication channels to propose improvements.

2. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Plan, coordinate, and support execution of employee engagement initiatives (events, contests, recognition programs).
  • Work closely with the local leadership team to ensure strong participation, consistent experience, and with regional engagement team to
  • ensure alignment with regional and global culture pillars.
  • Track engagement participation, gather feedback, and help improve engagement activities based on insights.
  • Support local implementation of culture initiatives (Culture Champions, recognition moments, belonging programs, etc.).

3. Employer Branding & Content Coordination

  • Support the delivery of employer branding activities in line with regional and global strategy.
  • Coordinate collection of local content for social media, recruitment marketing, and culture storytelling.
  • Support preparation of posts, visuals, and updates for external channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, job boards).
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to highlight local success stories and employer value proposition (EVP).
  • Assist in developing branded materials for internal and external use.

4. ESG & Community Programs

  • Support local execution of ESG initiatives linked to global sustainability, inclusion, and social impact goals.
  • Help coordinate volunteer activities, NGO partnerships, and community involvement projects.
  • Track participation and outcomes of ESG activities and share best practices across the region.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, HR, or related field
  • Fluent in English
  • 2-4 years of experience in communication, employer branding, or employee engagement within corporate or multinational environments
  • Experience with internal communications, content creation, and engagement initiatives
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva and social media platforms
  • Strong soft skills: excellent communication, active listening, interpersonal skills, adaptability, problem-solving
  • Ability to support corporate culture, employee engagement, and internal/external branding initiatives
