Position Summary

Key Responsibilities 

As Planning Associate working across the Nike account, your responsibilities will include (not limited to) the following:   

  • Support the managers to develop the RFP to develop the best possible plan for the communications idea. 
  • Manage aggregation of media plans and budgets (planned and actualized) across all markets for distribution to EMEA HQ. 
  • Manage budget forecasting from annual to weekly, inclusive of delivery metrics forecast (for ad-hoc & always-on campaigns). 
  • Input into the production of audience and communications data and intelligence for the development of the communications plan, utilizing relevant tools and techniques. 
  • Contribute to the ideation team sessions in conjunction with the Strategy team and relevant SBU to generate creative & compelling connections idea. 
  • Responsible for timely completion and aggregation of finance related tasks throughout campaign cycle. Including during the planning phase (IO, PO tracking) and reconciliation (Finalized Media Plans, Invoice tracking). 
  • Responsible for the delivery and contribution to key reporting asks including weekly commentary, end of campaign wrap-ups and any other ad-hoc reporting asks. 
  • Responsible for campaign production and being a lead POC with the client. Tasks include congregating format specs once the Media Plan is finalized, managing the delivery from creative agency, working with the specialist teams to create ad previews and then ensuring a smooth approval and golive process with the client. 
  • Responsible for the timely, accurate delivery of day-to-day requests from the team. 
  • Responsible for regular trend identification, culture and competitive analysis for client. 

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum 1+ years experience in integrated planning role in media agency (local, regional or global - we are keen to speak to those with experience within one of the key EMEA 5 local markets)  
  • Basic knowledge of media planning tools and systems  
  • Basic knowledge of digital media reporting and analysis  
  • Passion for sport and fitness 
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. 
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills. 
  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
