Job Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Setup process and/or maintain current process for commission justification and document with step-by-step instructions.

  • Setup process and/or maintain current process for agent commission audits and document with step-by-step instructions. Perform audits daily.

  • Collaborate with commission processing team to make sure procedures used do not create unforeseen issues in commission processing.

  • Communicate commission discrepancies both internally and with carriers.

  • Verify all commission discrepancies are resolved by carrier(s).

  • Process carrier insurance commission payments when necessary to support commissions team during peak times.

  • Communicate directly with insurance agents to resolve commission related questions/issues. 

  • Assist Finance Team leaders with related duties as assigned, within the scope of practice. 

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Basic Accounting knowledge 

  • Strong Excel Skills; formulas, LOOKUP’s, pivot tables 

  • Being thorough, accurate, and meticulous in the work you produce.

  • Self-motivated 

  • Keyboarding/Computer Skills 

  • Organized, Credible, Reliable 

  • Able to Multi-Task Preferred Qualifications 

  • 1-5 years’ working with commission processing and/or auditing carrier statements a plus.

  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanor. 

  • Travel Requirements:  Limited day travel with very limited occasional overnight travel
