Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• Provide exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
• Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, and work with account representative to ensure vehicles are ready and parked on-spot on-time for sale.
• Performs basic client services duties such as monitoring vehicle reconditioning processes, supporting client team, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure smooth auction operations.
• Educates on company products and services
• With assistance from more senior peers and multiple auction departments, reviews sales lineup vehicles, recommending and coordinating reconditioning services, and conducting condition report and imaging audits to reduce the risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses.
• Develops a foundational understanding of auction services concepts and methodologies including but not limited to condition report data and the vehicle inspection process.
• Basic knowledge of computers software including Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and other internal business technology platforms • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform any other duties assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Entry-level and/or employees with minimal client facing experience
• 1+ years’ experience, with minimum of 1 year in automotive industry or related field
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience vehicle reconditioning and or general auto body knowledge is a plus
• Team-based interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.
• Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record is required
• Ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmission is preferred
