We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lead whose role will involve full responsibility for ensuring the London Market Account (LMA) operates within a robust commercial framework while driving new growth opportunities with Velonetic.
This is a senior, highly visible role with end‑to‑end responsibility for commercial governance across new and existing services, including full ownership of the sales lifecycle from opportunity shaping and deal approval through to delivery, renewal, and revenue realisation. You will lead commercial frameworks, pipeline management, and deal governance, ensuring alignment across contractual, licensing, architectural, and operational engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Framework & Governance
- Define, implement, and maintain commercial frameworks and principles across the account
- Ensure target margins of are achieved and maintained
- Govern Statements of Work (SoWs), pricing, and commercial risk
- Manage and protect Intellectual Property (IP) ownership arrangements
- Ensure licensing agreements are compliant and held with the correct legal entities
- Oversee commercial requirements linked to solution architecture, new services, pricing, bidding, and regulatory compliance across run and change
Relationship & Pipeline Management
- Act as the primary commercial interface between DXC and Velonetic
- Own and maintain a clear, accurate end‑to‑end sales pipeline
- Manage complex, multi‑stakeholder business relationships at senior levels
- Own and operate the Integrated Solutions Board (ISB) deal review process
Deal Management & Approvals
- Ensure all new work and renewals operate within agreed commercial frameworks
- Own ISB deal governance and revenue accountability, ensuring strong commercial discipline and timely approvals
- Provide structured oversight across multiple concurrent deals and initiatives
What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience working within commercial frameworks, governance models, and Statements of Work
- Strong ownership of the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity shaping through approval, delivery, and renewal
- Experience owning ISB deal governance and associated revenue
- Confidence managing complex, multi‑party commercial relationships
- A highly organised, structured approach, balancing pace with control and attention to detail
