Commercial Finance Analyst (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

As Commercial Finance Analyst you will support our media brands with high‑quality financial insights, analysis and reporting. With the support of the wider commercial finance team, you will help deliver strategic commercial outputs, influence decision‑making, and drive revenue and profit targets. This is an exciting opportunity to work with senior leaders, contribute to business planning, and play a central role in shaping the organisation’s commercial performance.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract with hybrid working in either our Melbourne or Sydney office.

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver monthly management reporting and forecasting, communicating key business insights, performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, including analysis of revenue streams, cost bases and consolidated forecasts.
• Support senior management and brand leaders by providing commercial finance guidance.
• Work with wider commercial team to finalise monthly financial statements and support ongoing process improvement initiatives.

A bit about you:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, with CPA/CA (or international equivalent).
• Experience working in commercial finance with strong analysis capability.
• Advanced Excel skills and data‑analysis capability.
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills
