Heartflow is seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Commercial Data Analyst to join our team as we look to scale our commercial organization and ramp up commercialization efforts in the U.S., UK, Europe, and Japan.

The Commercial Data Analyst helps manage support functions essential to driving revenue and increasing commercial productivity and efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing various reporting and analytic activities in support of the Commercial team and adjacent groups. Specifically, you will be working on reporting and architecture development, business analysis, and data regulations/permission set management. This is a dynamic and exciting role with the ability to shape the direction of Commercial Operations at Heartflow. You will frequently collaborate cross-functionally with all business units at Heartflow, including Sales, Medical Education, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Product/Project management.

This is a full-time position with salary, bonus, benefits. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting: Develop and update reports primarily in Tableau and other similar reporting tools for key business priorities including commercial KPI’s, business performance indicators, pipeline management, and ad hoc strategic initiatives.
  • Data Governance: Analyze and curate varied sources of data to address key business priorities. Maintain strong data integrity including routine QC and validation efforts across the overarching reporting suite.
  • Analysis: Identify and create relevant measures using the latest analytical methodologies to drive insights for various stakeholder groups
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with wide-ranging cross-functional teams including sales & sales leadership, operations, customer success, marketing, and medical education to facilitate data-driven decisions.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Utilize classic SDLC and Agile processes to plan, manage, and execute ad hoc initiatives supporting various stakeholder groups.
  • Architecture Modeling and Development: Design, program, and maintain underlying data sources using best-in-class domain-specific programming languages and declarative query languages.

Skills Needed:

  • Proven experience of architecture, schema, and VSQL requirements for outstanding reporting in Tableau.
  • Strong grasp of variable and function-based calculations and the ability to design custom and dynamic metrics to shape and/or create various KPI’s.
  • Strong relational database and declarative query/data serialization language skills, namely VSQL, SQL, YAML
  • Experience with general-purpose programming languages (namely Python)
  • General understanding of SFDC and object-field relationships within that environment.
  • Experience creating dynamic and fluid modeling and visualizations for a wide range of stakeholder groups across all user-levels.
  • Understanding of healthcare technology and commercialization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills appropriate to the level of audience.
  • Ability to be extremely agile and deadline focused with a high degree of quality.
  • Natural problem solver.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience: 

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in an analytics focused role, ideally within the healthcare industry. Experience with medical education teams is a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau or equivalent BI software, Salesforce.com (SFDC). Experience with semantic layers and database management software is a plus.
  • Experience creating custom variable-based logic functions and aggregated measures in VSQL and/or SQL.
  • Experience with curating, modeling, and handling large-scale data. Unstructured and no-context data set experience is a plus.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $120,000 to $144,000, and bonus. #LI-IB1
