WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As a Columbus Promise Co-Op Student for the 2026-2027 academic year, our goal is to align your work at IGS with your personal areas of interest. We are seeking students of all major areas of study. We want to provide you with a positive professional experience and help you better understand the fast-paced energy industry, while having a lot of fun along the way. That includes specific programming to increase your soft skills and support your career readiness. Whether you see your future in marketing, sales, IT, or another field, you will work on meaningful projects with some of the best professionals in the industry. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, our goal is to assist you in developing and preparing to launch successfully into your career.


This position will be approximately 20 hours a week at the hourly rate of $19 an hour. Plus, a monthly stipend of $150 is also provided to assist with transportation, meals, or other needs. Work schedules will be determined between hiring managers and Earn-and-Learn students. However, we pride ourselves on being flexible with employee schedules. As a part-time position, this opportunity is not benefits eligible. Our offices are open Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

LOCATION

Our corporate office is located at 6100 Emerald Parkway in Dublin, Ohio. Free onsite parking is available to all employees. Working-from-home opportunities will be discussed between hiring managers and students. COTA bus lines (12, 33) connect to a bus stop located half of a mile to the South of our office at Woerner Temple and Emerald Parkway. A sidewalk is available and walkable from the bus stop to our main entrance. However, all job candidates are encouraged to discuss transportation difficulties or any other potential barriers with hiring managers so we can support finding solutions.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING

Offers of employment with IGS Energy will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen administered by a third-party agency.  Additionally, successful completion of a BCI criminal background review is required.  Please note, a prior criminal conviction does not immediately disqualify you from employment.

Job duties vary by position for this role. This role is used for Co-Ops working in office environments, but may work remotely some of the time.

Salary Range:

$31,200.00 - $62,400.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
