SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for the daily management of the intelligence support activities of the intelligence staff including intelligence oversight, collection management, systems and programs management, cover and signature reduction.
  • You will be responsible for the planning and developing requirements, for intelligence programs and systems in support of full spectrum cyberspace operations.
  • You will serve as the senior program/project manager for intelligence support activities at the Command.
  • You will serve as the recognized subject matter expert (SME) within the intelligence staff section for procurement and acquisition of intelligence capabilities to support all-source intelligence production and analysis.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and demonstrating operational knowledge of capabilities and accessing the collection disciplines, strengths and weaknesses of specific technical sensors/platforms, and human sources in area of responsibility; 2) Executing collection using appropriate collection strategies and within the priorities established through the collection management process; 3) Developing networks and building alliances; collaborating across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals; and, 4) Applying principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
