U.S. Bank is hiring a Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Loan/Asset Administrator to support our Wealth Operations line of business. About the Team

The Collateralized Loan Obligation Group (CLO) is part of U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services, the premier CLO trustee in the industry. Our team supports sophisticated structured finance vehicles that issue both debt and equity and are backed by diverse portfolios of assets—including syndicated loans, corporate bonds, asset‑backed securities, mortgage‑backed securities, and mezzanine debt.

As a CLO Loan/Asset Administrator, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of these portfolios. Your work directly supports Deal Administration, Analytics, and Relationship Management teams and helps ensure payments, reporting, and investor information are processed accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll gain exposure to end‑to‑end asset administration while developing strong analytical and operational skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Researching and resolving bond and system discrepancies using tools such as Bloomberg, DTC, and trustee reports

  • Managing bond data globally in CDO Suite and Issue Tracker to ensure accuracy across systems

  • Booking interest and principal payments when notes pay

  • Managing and granting report access to external stakeholders

  • Supporting partner teams during high‑volume periods such as month‑end

  • Participating in hands‑on training designed to help you build confidence and independence

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm CST
Mandatory overtime during month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end

Location: Hybrid – 3+ days in office (flexible; Tuesdays encouraged) 190 S LaSalle St, Chicago, IL

Basic Qualifications

  • Typically an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically less than two years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Ability to research, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Sound judgment and logical decision‑making skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Ability to work independently once trained and collaborate effectively within a team

  • Experience with bond reconciliation or administration is a plus—but not required

  • FDIC Clearance not mandatory but preferred for career growth working with government deals

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $25.77 - $34.33
