SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Provide professional technical advice to our customers, by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met, and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer’s satisfaction.Responsibilities:
Give clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff on paint application by working independently on-site with relevant client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met and in accordance with customer expectations.
Manage projects where advanced products have been specified by giving clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff per the specific working procedures to ensure that the specification and customer expectations are met.
Carry out inspections of specific projects assigned to you by your direct manager by working independently, following the right protocols and working procedures in order to ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification.
Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met.
This position requires travelling abroad.

Completed Bachelor’s degree (Naval architect, Marine Engineering, merchant Navy school)
Relevant experience is a plus but not required
