Join Maxis as a Cloud & Network Platform Analyst Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience in supporting and optimizing cloud and network infrastructure within a fast-paced telecommunications environment. This role provides exposure to real-time platform operations, network performance monitoring, and cloud resource management—critical components in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of Maxis’ core systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring cloud-based systems and network performance, identifying and reporting anomalies.

• Support the deployment and configuration of network devices and cloud resources.

• Participate in troubleshooting network connectivity issues and cloud platform incidents.

• Contribute to documentation of network configurations, cloud architecture, and operational procedures.

• Conduct basic analysis of network traffic and cloud resource utilization data. Collaborate with senior engineers and team members on projects related to infrastructure upgrades and optimization.

• Learn and apply best practices for network security and cloud operations.

• Support routine maintenance tasks for network and cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proactive and eager to learn new technologies

Internship Duration:

• Starting June onwards, preferably 6 months or longer.

• Open to undergraduate students and recent graduates seeking industry experience.
