This co-op will be hybrid, and students must be located near and be able to commute to our Wellesley, MA office.

The Role: 

The Sun Life U.S. Client Management team with Health & Risk Solutions is looking for a proactive, positive, and dynamic team player to join our team as a co-op. This role would support our Client Success Specialists and Customer Relationship Executives. As a member of our team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of Client Management, Customer Service, and the Stop Loss insurance industry.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Salesforce tasks as applicable.

  • Assist with the completion of Rep Splits and Broker licensing.

  • Pursuit, collection, and transfer of Administrative Worksheets for new business groups.

  • Adding/removing Contacts on policies.

  • Submitting renewals for Risk Approval.

  • Creating DocuSign Packages.

  • Submitting cancellation requests.

  • Completing Sun Life Connect access requests.

  • Providing ISL Account Summaries/EORs as requested.

  • Assist with premium research.

  • W-9 and Schedule A Requests.

  • Sending medical Plan Documents to Product.

  • Uploading medical Plan Documents to the sold case tracker.

  • Sending Contracts.

  • Ad Hoc project work (as needed).

Core skill sets needed for this role:

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Working knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook and Adobe products.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proactive, able to manage multiple projects with demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly motivated, organized, self-driven, focused, with strong attentive to detail.

  • Critical thinking skills.

The Candidate - must meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university during the time of internship (July 2026 – December 2026). Preferably in their final year of undergraduate studies.

  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study.

  • Eligible to legally work in the United States.

  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during Intern session.

Compensation for this position will be $24/hr.
