Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.

You will work within the GSA team to implement a client strategy reporting platform. You will support in delivering a high performance client analytics platform providing both descriptive and predictive analytics on Deutsche Bank’s clients, their performance and the opportunities they can provide. You will be familiar with advanced data science techniques and machine learning methodologies and have a commercial attitude, and a detail oriented approach to breaking down complex matters. Your key responsibilities

  • Design and implement a uniform set of client profitability metrics used across the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank
  • Design and implement visualizations to embed analytics into business workflows
  • Design and implement data models and flows that are optimally flexible and performant
  • Proficient in data engineering and data science implementations in Python (Pandas) and SQL
  • Visualization implementations/techniques in DashUI / ag-grid / plotly are a plus

Your skills and experience

  • Extensive data and analytics experience, ideally within a financial services environment. Expertise in visualization design a plus.
  • University degree in relevant field such as computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics
  • Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models and data structures
  • Ability to translate data to extract meaningful commercial insights and visualise data to support decision making processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and partner with various teams, and to be able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
