Who we are looking for

This is the Senior Fund Accountant role, focusing on technical supervision, and assisting the Manager to meet the business unit goals and objectives. 

What you will be responsible for

As Client Implementation & Service, you will

  • Assign work and supervise the flow of daily operations and be the subject matter expert of all processes.

  • Carry out core and complex processing activities in accordance with established procedures.

  • Identify risk issues, breaches and act in accordance with the 'risk' escalation chain and operating procedures.

  • Be accountable for all the assigned tasks, resolve complex issues and escalate as needed acting with a sense of urgency to meet required deliverables

  • Update and maintain procedures for all tasks/activities and work with the Manager to ensure all corporate compliance, risk policies and SOP’s are adhered to by the team

  • Assist Manager in making enhancements to the daily operating model.

  • Coordinate On-The-Job training for staff members and assist the Manager with staff development and succession planning

  • Demonstrates teamwork - think of the whole team, fair approach to all team staff. 

  • Be flexible to accommodate the business needs

  • Act professionally, always instill a professional attitude in the team

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. Accounting or Finance is preferred.

  • Strong skills in MS excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to write macros is a plus.

  • Organized and deadline-driven

  • Strong learning ability
