Retail & Lifestyle is one of the most strategic and fastest-evolving verticals within Maersk, with a strong global footprint and significant growth ambitions. As a Client Acquisition Lead, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Maersk’s market share by identifying, targeting, and winning new customers across the logistics and supply chain ecosystem. This role is designed for a highly driven, strategic sales professional with a strong “hunter” mindset—someone who thrives on opening doors, building pipelines, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships. You will work closely with global and regional stakeholders, positioning Maersk as a trusted end-to-end supply chain partner for Retail & Lifestyle customers.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Own and drive the new customer acquisition strategy for the Retail & Lifestyle vertical.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue high-potential prospects customers across key markets and segments.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent conversion and revenue growth.
  • Design and execute strategic territory and account penetration plans to expand Maersk’s footprint.

Consultative & Solution Selling

  • Develop a deep understanding of prospective customers’ business models, supply chain challenges, and growth ambitions.
  • Engage stakeholders across all levels, including C-suite, to position tailored, value-driven logistics solutions.
  • Create compelling value propositions that address end-to-end supply chain pain points.

Strategic Positioning & Value Creation

  • Position Maersk as a strategic logistics partner, not just a service provider.
  • Collaborate with internal product, operations, and solution design teams to craft differentiated offerings.
  • Drive cross-selling and integrated logistics opportunities from the very first engagement.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with global/regional teams to leverage network capabilities and unlock large, multi-country opportunities.
  • Act as the central orchestrator, bringing together internal stakeholders to deliver winning solutions.
  • Share market intelligence, customer insights, and best practices across teams.

Pipeline Governance & Execution Excellence

  • Maintain high-quality SFDC hygiene with accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting.
  • Ensure smooth transition of won accounts into execution by the CX teams with clear growth roadmaps.
  • Uphold compliance with commercial guidelines, contracts, and internal policies.
