The core focus of this position is to maintain the integrity of $50M+ of loose diamond inventory. Daily and weekly processing goals (SLA’s) must be met while ensuring the accuracy of all vendor receipts and movement of any loose diamonds in/out of inventory. All diamond movements require inventory validation by counting and/or weighing each diamond. Additionally, this position will process outbound diamonds to vendors and stores by producing manifests, verifying outgoing diamonds, packaging, and shipping.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Receiving - Efficiently count/weigh 350K+ diamonds as well as test 50K diamonds on the Diamond Sure to verify the nature of each diamond. Use the 4Cs & diamond cost to confirm PO to invoice accuracy. Complete SRSP & Kimberly statement verification. When required, interact with vendors to resolve receiving issues.
Stock Control - Maintain the integrity of the 210K+ envelopes processed by reconciling 900K diamonds via diamond count and weight of every envelope transferred in and out of the Stock Control Room. Additionally, process RTV’s, restock scrap, process recut & cert charges, complete color/clarity corrections etc. Transfer inventory from one inventory system to the other to accommodate assembly order inventory needs.
Shipping - Management of all shipments to the stores and vendors. This includes creating manifests, packing slips and customs documents for shipments to stores, vendor, D&SC, certification houses, repair vendors, SMA, RTV’s and Special Orders. Obtain tracking and proof of delivery where necessary. Assembling of boxes and packaging merchandise.
Ordering and management of supplies for the entire department and other duties
Physical requirements: Must be able to carry trays of merchandise, move full trays of diamonds and collateral up to 25lbs, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs, stand, sit, squat, twist at the waist, steady hands and clear vision
Position Qualifications:
Education: High School – strong math skills & basic financial accounting
Acceptable Job-Related Experience: Very strong attention to detail
Technical/Other Skills: MS Office, IMS, 10 keypad, Excel, JDE
