Clearance Broker (HCM)
What you will do
- Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
- Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, declare customs declaration form and determine duty rates and tax liabilities
- Resolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues
- Collaborate closely with government agencies, regulatory bodies and internal teams for efficient and timely clearance
You will be a great fit if you have:
- At least three (3) years of work experience in Customs
- Customs professional certificates is issued by Customs Department is preferrable
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures and trade compliance
- Are proficient in customs clearance software and online customs portal
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & PC
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proven expertise in planning & organizing, with a strong accuracy & attention to detail
