Job Description Summary

The Cleaner cleans bathrooms, cafe and property common areas, office. The Cleaner reports to Manager. They will work closely with the maintenance staff.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Cleans restrooms, entryways, hallways
  • Cleans mechanical spaces, labs
  • Responsible for baling cardboard, removing wafer boats, courtyard trash, sweeping outside stairs (weather permitting)
  • Responsible for providing world class customer service by addressing the concerns and maintenance needs in a friendly and professional manner
  • Reports any maintenance problems to the supervisor
  • Assists with inventory control
  • Performs job duties using safety guidelines and reports obstacles to be doing so
  • Performs other duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment used to perform job duties
  • Able to follow directions and handle projects
  • Able to complete tasks on time
  • Able to follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying weather. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, or move objects.

The compensation for the position is: $15.30 - $18.00
