How you will create impact
The Claims IT Business Analyst will serve as a critical bridge between Global Claims Operations, Product, and Technology to enable delivery of the Claims by AIG Assist (GenAI) program. This role will translate business priorities into actionable requirements, drive process optimization, and ensure GenAI capabilities are operationally viable, compliant, and aligned to the Claims Technology North Star.
The analyst will support end-to-end delivery across use cases such as FNOL intake, coverage analysis, document summarization, and adjuster workflow augmentation, ensuring measurable improvements in cycle time, accuracy, and adjuster experience.
What you need to know:

Partner with Claims SMEs (US, UK, and EMEA) to document current-state workflows, pain points, and value opportunities
Define future-state GenAI-enabled processes with clear control points, human-in-the-loop steps, and audit requirements
Quantify business value (cycle time reduction, touchless rates, leakage avoidance, adjuster productivity)
Requirements & Delivery
Elicit, document, and prioritize epics, features, and user stories aligned to Product roadmap
Translate GenAI use cases into functional, non-functional, data, and compliance requirements
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT, and release readiness
Define acceptance criteria and success metrics for each use case
Data & Controls
Identify required data elements, source systems, and integration points (e.g., OneClaim, document repositories, legacy in-country policy/claims systems)
Ensure alignment with model governance, privacy, and regulatory controls
Partner with Data, InfoSec, and Legal to operationalize safe GenAI usage
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the single point of coordination between Claims Ops, Product, IT, and Data Science
Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and playback reviews with senior stakeholders
Provide clear executive-level updates on scope, risks, and value realization
Adoption & Value Realization
Gather information to help support KPIs and telemetry measurement for GenAI outcomes
Support change management, training content, and adjuster onboarding
Help track benefits against business case and identify optimization opportunities
