Claims Assistant promotes workers’ compensation incidents to claims, notify the VWCC of new claims via electronic FROI and follow-up with claimant’s regarding timely reporting. Field all office mail and send to the appropriate claim examiners. Process legal and medical documents, attaching them to the appropriate claim files. Deal with the general public in a professional manner by answering calls, and communicating electronically and in-person.
